Almost 6 years after it's release, Kruugar gets Oblivion.

Used ACF's recommendation, got OOO and patched it.
Is there any reason to not be a vampire as a spell caster?
I was looking into the quest to get rid of it but, as long as I get my guy to feed it seems like the only real downside is the fire vulnerability which I haven't seemed to have a problem with yet.

Life has been busy. Not much time for games. I finally had some time so I got Oblivion.
My comp isn't top of the line for today's games. I might as well play high quality games that I wanted to play awhile ago without any lag. It's much more enjoyable.
I already have Morrowind.

I had that problem with Morrowind. I'd play halfway through and then not have a good amount of time to sink into the game for 2 or so months and then forget whatever it was I trying to do. Eventually got through it though.
Game is much better with the Mods. I'll eventually get Skyrim when mod community has built up some good stuff. (and I get a newer machine)

I enjoyed Oblivion. I don't think I even put much in the way of mods on it. None of the overhaul stuff for sure.

OOO makes the game overly frustrating and is designed for people who have played the game a ton.
I hate it when people suggest that you install it for your first playthroughs. All that it's going to accomplish for you
is making you leave 90% of the dungeons that you go in early in the game because the goblins there one shot you.

Make sure you get the graphics upgrades.Also, OOO makes the game a lot harder. Â Just know that going into it as a noob.

I wish there was a mod that overhauled the stupid leveling system and scaling without making the game nearly impossible at low levels.
That said, skyrim seems to completely get rid of most of these problems (as did Fallout New Vegas).

There's no reason OOO should make the game overly hard for anyone even on the first play through, as you can still adjust the difficulty slider.
As not not being a vampire... idk the mechanics behind vampires but it's a role playing game so not wanting to be a blood-sucking undead is reason enough.
Enemies do have more static levels of difficulty in OOO, so the big enemies will pwn you for a longer time. So if you don't like being restricted in where you can run I guess that could be annoying. I like the world not being so focused around the player, though.
