at least on my server it seems like every other Republic player is a selfish prick.
really now I clear out the spawns so I can get to a quest item only to have some other idiot run up to grab it.
i dont have a imp toon yet so I dont know if its the same on the other side, but playing a imp you would kinda expect it.

i think another reason is i havent joined a guild.
cuz i hate it when guild group shows up, they never share or play nice.
usually if I am not close to being done I will move to another quest, because its just a waste of time to compete with a group for quest items.
like now I am stealthed in a corner waiting for a elite to respawn so I can kill him.
so i alt tab out and post here.

i rolled a sith inquistor and im pretty sure i stopped playing after about 30 minutes because of barrens chat-esque talking and basically just straight up griefing from your OWN FACTION! quest item stealing/quest mob pulling/not giving a crap about doing any of those things. If you are playing an MMO, you are less likely to have a lot of friends irl, more likely to be attempting to escape from your life, more likely to be competitive, more likely to be young, and since a lot of people liked the original old republic game because you could choose to be evil, they probably also like that aspect of playing MMOs.
It's a generalization, but I think it's fair to say it applies to a good number.

Doesn't change things. There's a lot of noobs that this is their first mmo too. Did a 2 man flashpoint with a sith who rolled on a sniper rifle I wanted because he didn't know how to pass.

Doesn't change things. There's a lot of noobs that this is their first mmo too. Did a 2 man flashpoint with a sith who rolled on a sniper rifle I wanted because he didn't know how to pass.
School noobs, make a guild, turn guild pro. Guaranteed someone did that for you, sounds like it's your turn now.
