Like usual, still hoping someone else will throw their hat in the ring.

Maybe Cookie Monster will run. He has a simple platform I can get behind.

Redkay and Yuki are 100% in the Obama camp. They are merely waiting for the Republicans to choose a candidate so that they can say they only chose Obama because the Republican choice was so much worse.

I on the other hand guarantee that I will not vote for Newt or Mitt just because Obama sucks.

Maybe Mitt, maybe Gary Johnson, maybe a Paul write-in. Not voting for Obama unless Newt got the nomination.

My Dad. I always write him in when there is no good choice.

I think I'd vote for Hillary if she'd dump Obama and run herself.

Hopefully paulie gets a statue put up to commemorate his awesomeness!

Paul's principled vote for someone with no supporters seems like it would be productive for local and state elections. Maybe even a House of Reps election.

For the presidency however it seems like something that is only being done so paul can pat himself on the back. I just dont understand the self righteousness of some of the 'I will vote for someone who will never win and never influence legislation' voters.

Do the 2000 Nader voters in Florida applaud themselves for Iraq and the state of the deficit?

that's the most cynical and defeatist thing i've read all day. "hey, let's vote for some turd sandwich because all the other voters are fucking morons and won't nominate someone good." that's bound to help us all in the long term! changing a broken system doesn't happen all at once. and status quo voters like yourself work to ensure that it will never happen.

Uh I said just last week I will catagorically not vote for Obama if he signs that defense monstrosity with the language on indefinite detention still in it.

Has he signed it yet? Last I checked the congressional website said not yet. Pretty sad we can't rely on the media to actually tell us stuff like that.

Of course, if I was like you I would just say "it doesn't matter whether Obama signs it or not since there's a veto-proof majority in Congress. So he may as well sign it because it would be a futile gesture not to!"

The reality is that of all of them Hillary is the only one who is actually a leader. She has the tools, the experience, the contacts and the connections, not to mention the sack.

It's funny because when her Husband first got elected I used to say, "who elected that wench?" when she started acting like an elected official. Now...she's been a competent SoS and as it stands is the only real leader we have in Washington.

She might even be able to unite the parties now and again. The right hate her and hate her husband...but they fear her as well.

Any establishment candidate is almost a sure bet for taking us to war and if not with Iran it will be with some other country.

If you can't see that this image fits her then you are lying to yourself.

Of course she is old guard. News flash...nobody with a snowballs chance in hell is anything but.

I still find it laughable after her work as SoS that some of you immediately assume she will take us to war. She has shown she can accomplish a whole lot without doing so, while Bush and the right have proved they can take us to war and accomplish almost nothing.

The problem is that the war drums are beating and this "arab spring" is a lot of propaganda from our media. There seems to be a big play at work to take us into a big war - maybe its part of how countries boost their economies. Global recessions tend to be followed by war.

You sound like a conspiracy nutcase. Several revolutions happened without us going to war...which is all a plan to take us to war?

Next you'll give Bush credit for starting Arab Spring.

Which is manly yes, but Cabby likes it too.

I give credit to the bush regime for getting all of this started. This was all part of the neocon agenda as documented in PNAC.

Anyone who advocates putting a chokehold on the banks and cutting the federal budget by about 50%.

Which means writing in Bill Still or something.
