CNN quotes Newt and doesn't correct him.

Color me shocked.

If you sign your name to an opinion it is your opinion or you are a drooling idiot.A politician who signs his name to an opinion that he hasn't read it too stupid to have any credibility and definitely too stupid to hold office.

Pretty typical =\. Rumors are it is a lot of his camp that is pushing it so hard, too. The mainstream media has a blantly obvious bias against Ron Paul with some motive. I think a good news story would be 1) What is that motive for and 2) Who started i

Don't be a blathering idiot. If you've been keeping up with current events, each candidate rose to the top and each, one by one got trounced by the media and other candidates. There is no conspiracy against Ron Paul. Just the political election juggernaught rolling over the current king of the hill. If Ron can't parry these attacks, he has no business swinging with the big boys.

Have you ever seen that CNN piece of him "storming" out? That was one of the most doctored interviews I've ever seen

I can understand people get upset about the letters, but doing that is obviously showing bias.

The fat cow CNN interviewer was clearly a tart purposely trying to provoke Ron, but it does not make him immune from scrutiny about those letters. They are simply too volatile and people want to be absolutely sure they aren't voting in somebody worse than Hitler.

Even the left has to acknowledge the media bias against Ron Paul.

I agree, the letters were bad and Paul was defiantly not a good publisher (though he wasn't the editor).

That's not the bias, or any bias, I am talking about. I am talking about doctoring an interview tape and saying something happened when it didn't happen. Even the NY Post isn't that trashy at honest journalism

It is funny how these same idiots screamed and yelled about Rev.Wright saying things that Obama never said or claimed he agreed with but then the same idiots proclaim Paul is a victim for being held responsible for opinions in his own publication that he signed/endorsed. silly

Ron Paul said he doesn't agree with the things in the news letter. He never said anything of the sort before or after. Those things are entirely inconsistent with his record as a politician.

Why do you disregard a mountain of evidence and pretend like the only believable thing is the one thing that doesn't fit?

He said she said. It all means nothing until you record the person saying it.

Since no elected official actually writes or even reads legislation that they are in effect 'putting their name to' - I think this statement has a much broader appeal that you might have first imagined.

Its pretty obvious the media was against him. They ignored him till they couldn't anymore for example.
