This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

I love this!
Now, an interesting byproduct of this could be the casting out of Notre Dame. Notre Dame regularly schedules USC and Stanford from the Pac 12, and Michigan, Michigan State, and Purdue from the Big 10. Notre Dame has also completely refused to join a conference for the last couple of decades. So the question becomes, if these conferences are going to schedule at least one out of conference game (one of the two or three "gimme" games each team regularly schedules) per year, it wouldn't be smart to keep Notre Dame on as one of your remaining "gimme" games. They might lose a lot of their historic scheduling.

Pac-12 and Big Ten Announce Scheduling Partnership
In a time of instability and uncertainty on the college sports landscape, the Pac-12 and the Big Ten announced an innovative scheduling agreement Wednesday that links the two conferences and shows they have no imminent plans for change.
Starting in 2017, each team from the Pac-12 and the Big Ten will play a team from the other league in football each season, and the conferences will also begin to play each other extensively in other sports starting as soon as next season.
The Big Ten commissioner, Jim Delany, said the essential idea was to create some of the benefits of conference expansion — greater reach, increased brand recognition and more quality games — without actually expanding. Delany called Larry Scott, the Pac-12 commissioner, about the idea in the summer and the plan crystallized through a series of meetings between athletic directors and university presidents, the last of which was in New York in December. The two leagues have their own television networks and share more than a century of history tied to the Rose Bowl.

Hopefully everyone stops scheduling ND. It isn't right that they are the only team in the country that has special rules for BCS bowl games.

Sounds like a good idea. Also.....maybe one of these days Boise will decide to join a proper conference. They would be a good fit in the Pac.
