Despite only getting to throw the ball 8 times, he clearly is the man considering Denver is 3-1 now under him. He's a beast, ya'll best stop hating. :P

Isn't it funny that people will actually say that this week and mean it? I mean really, what does it say about you when you throw the ball 8 times in the entire game in this day and age of NFL football?

it says you should be a running back, seriously, ray rice had the same number of TD passes this week

edit: and he had only 1 less completion

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about his play style, honestly. However, I like the man, so I hope he keeps doing well.

Tebow seems like a nice guy but he is so overrated. Probably because his fanbase is expanded due to his strong religious beliefs and the inexplicable media fascination with him. I agree that he should be a running back and the broncos should pick up a decent qb and some receivers in the draft.

This was a perfect outcome. A total of 8 passes attempted, only 2 completed, but with 1 of those 2 being the 50-some-yarder game winning TD means his fans can be happy that "he just wins", his detractors have plenty to talk about this week about his inability to actually do the whole "throwing the ball" part of quarterbacking, he'll obviously get the start next week, and his doing just barely enough to win can only continue to cause consternation of the Broncos' organization in their need to find an actual NFL QB to start for them next year. grin

I'm sure he could do good. I just think Orton is a dope. But that is neither here nor there and Quinn isn't all that either.
I am just happy that my beloved broncos are doing something good. Not quite John elway but hey Willis McGahee isn't Terrel Davis either. But they are getting the Job done

Quinn has not had a chance you work hard to prove your self in camp for what ? The coach said Tim was the 4th best QB they had in camp. I like Tebow and Quinn as for Orton he will be looking for a new team in 2012 i think.

I think Quinn could be good if he had good coaching and a chance. He is more likly to be the future than Tebow is.

Yeah I guess I can see that point Quinn came from the Browns right. If memory serves they didn't have the best O Line... but who knows.

Orton's a decent QB, but how well would you perform when your HOME crowd boos you because they want to see Tebow play just because he's Tebow?

Not very well. Every game Orton played this year was an away game.

Sucks that Schaub got hurt. Houston has been kicking all kinds of ass this year.

LET THE MATT LEINART ERA BEGIN :/

Also this right here is both why Tebow is loved and hated:

http://www.ktvq.com/news/custom-tebow-jerseys-cause-controversy/

He's got fundamentalist christians forgetting the difference between a good person and a good football player.

There's a chance he might not suck... this article lays out a pretty good case that Ken Whisenhunt is clueless when it comes to quarterbacks:

Denver gets a whopping 229 yards of total offense and 9/20 passing and the jets still manage to hand the win to them. Meanwhile the announcers continue to fellate tebow and ignore that it's his defense winning these games.

Ugh.

If he prayed half as much to end world hunger as he does for important stuff like doing kinda good at football. I am totally sure famine across the planet would be a thing of the past.

Good lord, he's awful. He misses so many passes he should hit with ease, and still the media gobbles him up like he's God's gift to football.

They might as well have McGahee back there taking snaps and throwing for 2 completions a game. I bet he could do better, too.

I like how people will argue that Tim Tebow is AWESOME, despite the overwhelming evidence against. 47% completion percentage...no offense to speak of...and his 4 wins are against very bad teams, Jets included. Look what the Lions did to him. That is the real Tim Tebow. He is good when he plays against horrible teams, but when it comes to someone good, look out. I REALLY hope they make the playoffs, if only to watch the Steelers, Ravens, or Pats beat them by 50.

I'm pretty sure my Chargers are gonna hand him his ass.

I am actually a bit of a Broncos fan but wish nothing but the worst for them until that son of a bitch is gone.

I think Jets fans were saying the same thing before until Thursday night. It may happen, but have have you seen your guys play lately? They're pretty godawful. Rivers has regressed incredibly, and letting a washed-up retread Carson Palmer, and most importantly, Michael Bush beat you? 157 yards rushing for bush on 30 carries doesn't bode well for your ability to stop Denver's all-rushing offense.

I think Tebow is a horrible QB, but I'm thoroughly enjoying the spectacle. And I don't understand so many people saying that the media is praising him like he's the best QB ever... by and large the media seems to be repeatedly writing/talking about how much he sucks as a passer (check out the number of "terrible throw" comments during Thursday's, and this is from the announcing crew that questioned why the Jets didn't use a timeout with 17 seconds left WHEN THEY WERE OUT OF TIMEOUTS) and instead they're reporting on how remarkable it is that the Broncos win in spite of his ineptitude throwing the ball, wondering when this will finally catch up with them, etc. When he finally played well on that game-winning drive the announcer just laughed, helpless to explain it.

Whatever I say. Let the Tebow show keep on winning, it'll just make it that much harder for the Bronocs to upgrade their QB to someone actually good.

Well my self i do believe there is a higher power a God thing if you want to call something a name. I think there was a Jesus and after that i keep a open mind about the rest of it. Seems unlikely that everything that happened for there to be life here just happened by shear chance.
