I no longer feel any sort of obligation to the game. I've supported it for nearly a decade, helped many...MANY...others achieve their in game goals while setting my own back weeks, even months.
Nobody has stepped up to buy this villa or even given me pixels to simply abandon it. Now, is this group of pixels all that important? No. It's evidenced by the lack of anyone truly wanting to pay for it. I bet within minutes of it being abandoned, THEN someone would get the villa. It's only becomes "valuable" if the price is free.

Wait a minut. So when I said the SC economy was beyond dead months and months ago I wasn't wrong? *gasp* I knew this villa wouldn't sell. I can't even sell epic set pieces or major BT weapons on SC. I've just given away most of everything left on my mules to clannies and log in maybe 2-3 times a month for a few minuts on SC. Just long enough to pay my own maint. :P Oh by the way. I totally get the whole vindictive approach. :P

I think you're a great person, and don't think that you yourself are petty but did tell our mutual friend that I think the vindictive act is a bit petty ("If I don't have it, no one will" and all). Sorry if you took it as a personal affront, it wasn't meant to be anything more than an opinion told to a friend who then told it to someone else (you).

There is no hole in my argument.
The blue EC was an example. Not an argument.
There is no point in taking the item off the villa other then being a greedy douche. Nobody wants to buy it so he removes it. It's very childish. Waa nobody will give me MMD's for something they could go find another villa with a hooked item on it. I promise there's more out there. Villa's are so overly abundant. Did you really think it was going to sell?
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against cutcha. I just don't agree with taking the item off but it's his stuff and he's free to do whatever. I just simply voiced my opinion to create something I can waste time on while I'm bord sitting here at work.  For that I saw thank you to both of you for being my waste of time for the day. :P

I'll take MMDs here. Someone wants me to just abandon the villa, pay MMDs and I will leave portal hooked and abandon.

Simply put, Turbine has put me in a vindictive mood.
Also, it really does show how unimportant a working, hooked, BM portal truly is. In the long run, a couple of years at best, Turbine probably will turn off the lights on the game. It's taken me years to agree with those who've been saying it for a long time now.

You guys are having too much fun here.
Comparing a villa with a portal that the vast majority of people don't give two craps about to an Energy Crystal that you can sell to the right person for insane amounts of in OR out of game currency is a little weak. (Feel free to ask me how I know in PM's. Lolz.)
I can't remember the last time that someone was able to actually sell a villa for MMD's, portal or no portal. We've picked up four adjacent villas the last two or three times that we came back and played - which means that it was at least five years ago. I think you guys are under-estimating the amount of villas that had portals, too. *shrug*

Just take it off the hooks already. Nobody is going to pay for it.
If you in a vindictive mood this still makes no sense. Your mad at Turbine so your guna unhook a portal item from a villa? How does that do anything to turbine? If anything it hurts your players and Turbine won't give 2 craps but most players probly won't even care.
It's so ridiculously easy now to get rank 6 on a mule and buy a mansion and then you can hook all the portal items you want. Villa's really are worthless.
