Hallow's End is Here!

That's right Hallow's End begins today. Complete with updated 365 epic loot. You'll be able to farm for the Horseman's Reins, get an updated version of that laughing helm we all love so much (think you can transmog the laugh effect?) and that handy sword that pops a pumpkin army! That one is my personal favorite. So go hit up an innkeeper for trick or treating and make sure you have room in your bags for the candy!

The achievements are all the same, the only changes are the locations of the treat buckets, due to cataclysm. I think Rill is working on those. I haven't finished with them yet on my priest. We'll be updating the Hallows End guide those loc's once that's done.
I'd really like to see some new achievements for each holiday, at least one new one each year. It's a bummer ot have the same achievement that's I've completed on several toons with no new updates.

I noticed there's a small new quest line, right outside SW gates, and you get a new Creepy Crate companion at the end of it -- takes about 10 minutes to complete.
There's also what looks like new "booths" at the area outside SW gates, but you can't interact with them in any way. Plus, there's a new quest that allows you to ride a broom (driven by a witch) and you go stink-bomb Undercity. You even "clean up" SW from the stink-bombs that were done by Horde people.
Looks like you get one shot a day to try for the HH mount - again.

Is that it that is new this year? A non-combat pet? Assuming of course the current raid level trinkets with sub-standard stats. I might re-sub if there was actually something worth doing, but if it's the same old thing, bad trinkets and the chance at a bugged flying horse, then I think I'll pass.

There aren't even any trinkets, i365 rings, and I've yet to see a tank one. It's f'ing pathetic.
