vaguely, the first time I bought Camelot which was in it's release month I didn't renew past the initial month. Took me a few years to give it another shot.

All our purchases up until that point had been made on the spot with no leasing. We had no leasing history, so Dell wouldn't ship us servers quickly. We were forced to drive to MicroCenter (in Fairfax) and buy a dozen or so desktops, quickly installed Linux, and then drove them (in a pickup truck) to our colocation facility, and stacked them up like firewood in a cage. Those two servers clusters (lovingly called the "gimp servers") ran for at least a year with no problems, at which point they were swapped out with standard Dell rack-mounted models.

I agree with it being like Crack.
I can't remember who said it one night running through a deserted NF, but it was said if the game was still red vs blue boxes running around the screen we'd still play it as long as the gameplay never changed.

Yeah, I still remember my first solo kill exactly with my level 41 mentalist against a 50 wizard at the hib mile gates in odin's lol The first time I leveled, first quests I did, etc. Miss those times in a game. Hopefully one day I play another game as a total newb.
