Subject: Topic of the Week wants to know if you participate in the seasonal quest lines

Not only is it DAOC's 10th Anniversary, it is also the Halloween season. For me, it means it's time to change my in-game yard. Time to put away the flowers and garden gnomes, and bring out the pumpkin patches and pick up the CM so he changes clothes.

It's a season, that brings about the Halloween Quest Line with a festive atmosphere and lots to see and do. We've seen several types of these events repeated throughout the years during Valentines, Easter, Halloween and Christmas, but Halloween is always my favorite. The capital cities with players running around using the different potions, the decorations placed throughout the realms cities and towns, the harvest moon, and the returning quest line that sends you into the frontiers.

These quest lines are usually easy enough to complete and offer unique rewards and trophies for your house and lawn. They can be fun to do, and often send you into the frontiers making completion somewhat of a challenge.

Topic of the Week wants to know if you participate in these events, and what you think of them?

I'm looking for some topic ideas. If you have any you'd like to see posted, please drop me a line.

Do you leave your trophies up all year or change them out? I have to change mine out.

Me I have always been partial to the Midgard Christmas tree, one of my houses is always decorated with them. Can't seem to put them away. When I have time, I love the seasonal change of the yard and house decorations for my other houses.

I like the seasonal fluff. I have a mid and hib Christmas tree in my basement. All year. Used to have em outside too, but haven't put em back up yet.

At least my little fiefdom will have an interesting structure to look at

EDIT: In answer to the question itself, I try to participate in as many seasonal quests as possible, though the finding the Xmas presents in the frontier one always annoyed me
