He knew this was coming and his stepping down from the helm of Apple pissed alot of people off and scared the stockholders...can you image the selloff that would have happened had he still been at the helm?
He will definitely be missed, he was a tech genius.

Despite not liking his recent crap (iPhone, iPad, iTune, iMymomisfat, iUselessstuff, etc...), I was there when he started with Apple, and he's definitely one of the leading persona which made home computing like it exists today possible.
Much respect to Mr Jobs, RIP to him, but his suffering is over now... so my thoughts go mostly to his family, who are the ones left and enduring this loss now.
