We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but

Decal export - missing required installs ?

Ok i know I'm missing something on this computer for decal what is it?
I'm having an issue installing vb6 run times i believe, it starts to open and unpack and then just closes out and windows 7 says want to reinstall using rec settings try that same thing - tried installing with admin permissions.
So aside from VB6 run times am i missing anything else?

I am not sure decal will work under vmware at all. If i remember right you have to install something in safe mode for it to work, but it has been too long for me to remember what.

VMWare runs fine for me with AC:
VMWare player 3.1.4
Host: Linux 2.6.38 x86_64, NVidia 275.19
Guest: Windows 2008r2, 7, or xp
Enable 3d acceleration checked
AC, Dual Client, Decal, and all plugins work. Framerate is playable but not as high as native.
AC/Decal does not currently work well in WINE.
I don't run windows on my computers anymore

Saloben is correct .. with VirtualBox from Oracle. Last I knew, VirtualBox needed to install the tools in safe mode to use the 3D part of it. VMware did not have this requirment.
Speaking of which .. did you update (or even install) the VMware tools for that virtual? It might be the answer you are looking for.
