Corsair has shown off a pair of keyboards, mice, and headsets for FPS and MMO gamers.

The two keyboards are both mechanical (Cherry MX Red switches). The MMO styled keyboard has 18 macro keys with 3 shift states for up to 54 total, along with an on the fly macro record button. In other words it looks a lot like a Logitech G series gaming keyboard. Except it's very booooring looking silver aluminum frame.

The mice also have aluminum frames, but are mostly covered up by the black top. The MMO mouse has 9 side buttons while the FPS mouse has fewer buttons, but includes adjustable weights.

There are also some gaming headsets.

I think I like the MMO mouse, not so crazy about either keyboard though.

I want the K90 keyboard. Hopefully it isn't way too high priced to actually compete with Steelseries.

Their website is listing it at $129. The k60 is $110 apparently.

Pretty decent pricing for some Cherry Reds.

Apparently there is a reason the price seems decent for keyboards using Cherry MX Red switches. All the keys are not mechanical on either keyboard.

Corsair confirms the top row of keys, ESC through PAUSE/BREAK are rubber dome. And on the model with the side G keys, those are all rubber dome as well.

"Corsair: The top row keys, ESC thru Pause/Break, and the Insert thru Page Down keys are dome-switch keys. The same for the G keys on the K90."

On the regular 104 keyboard, that's 21% of the keys being rubber domed.

Kinda weird. When Corsair tries something new, they usually don't half ass it and do it really well. Not this time.

Well, if you are going to save money somewhere on a keyboard those are the keys to do it with.

Well that killed all interest in the keyboards for me.

Guess I'll wait to see what the Rosewill ones will retail for.
