Decal issues... For the love of god plz help!

Ok so ive tried just about everything ive seen on these boards as far as installing and updating decal 2.9.6.0 and 2.9.6.5. I've installed AC and decal to 3 different locations the current one being the location suggested in the sticky thread (c:\Games). No matter what i do decal will not show up in the UI when i log into AC. I am installing decal for a friend on his comp and he is running win 7 just like my comp and yet i had no trouble installing and gettin decal to work and his comp is showing no progress in getting it to work... The only thing i can think of is maybe the fact that he downloaded and then tried to install decal 2.6.0.3 from sourceforge.net before letting me take over trying to get decal on his comp??? Anyways no matter what i do or what thread i read i don't seem to make any headway, i have yet to see the decal bar in his AC UI... Here is his export plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help!!!

After you download, you have to right click on decal and run as administrator and UPDATE decal.

Did that and got all black checkmarks but still no decal in UI. Also i have used the decal util and still nothing.....

You might try checking 'Use Alternate Injection' Decal option.
Also make sure the Disable View Rendering is unchecked.
Also when people say to install Decal,AC etc into c:\games they are really meaning.

I've had some cases where I had to use ac dual client before it'd show up in game.
