Hey there all VN Peeps. I am looking to build another system in January. Ill have about $2000 to spend and wanted to get a decent system going. It seems that Sandy Bridge 2600K is the way to go. Does anyone know what Ivy Bridge will be like or if it will be a significant enough jump to warrant getting it?

IS there any hardware that you think is going to be a good improvement in January vrs today?

Oh and I have been coming here for advice for a while and I appreciate all of your input.

On one note. I updated my profile and logged into the new IGN newtwork thingy. NOWHERE could I find a link BACK to the VN boards. Is this intentional or are these boards closing?

I'd just stick with a sandy bridge... maybe an i7 2600k or something similar. Then maybe spend a bit on a home NAS for storage and backup.
