We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	From newegg's photos: Having USBs on both sides is a good deal. The keyboard has a separate number pad which is a nice feature - it seems cramped though. The Touchpad looks like it only has a single button. I'm more partial to a two button, but that's not a big deal. 	I wouldn't say yes or no based on the Acer brand, but I tend to say, stick with your gut. If you've had a bad experience with a company, you will go into the next purchase looking for problems. 	i've had an acer dual core netbook for about 2 years now. the build is solid and it has held up to TONS of abuse. Laptops can be so hit or miss...but my little netbook is a beast. -----signature----- Lannai Fidenian

	i had a hp dv9000t that ate it... terrible cooling design. ended up getting a similar laptop to the one linked above. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115866 works great... only thing i do not like is the LED monitors. it does produce some deeper blacks but the color uniformity is pretty iffy. not a great viewing angle vertically (horizontally it's fine though). everything else is pretty damn sweet though especially for the price. -----signature----- ·»Teydis ¤ Igraine«· ·»»·â€œ ¤Herra¤ â€œ·««· http://www.backloggery.com/teylix

	Go Asus or Workstation class Dell or go home, IMO. Having worked on and owned and dealt with (and now WORKING support for Workstations), I have to say they are the most well built and best supported Notebooks around. -----signature----- (none)
