This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	In January Intel has a big embarrassment and had to recall motherboards with it's new P67 chipset, pretty much putting the brakes in the new Sandy Bridge CPU launch. They estimated it might be until April before the fixed P67 boards would be widely available (though it turned out to be a little earlier). April was also the time we thought AMD would be launching the Bulldozer desktop processors. It looked like a golden opportunity for AMD. To launch it's new architecture on the heals of an Intel fiasco. Intel fixed their chipset and got the replacements out quicker than expected and then April came and went without a new AMD processor. AMD stayed quiet until June when they launched the new AM3+ socket boards, which you'll need for a Bulldozer CPU. But no new AMD CPU for those boards yet, they said it would be August or September. Well August is gone and we are a week into September. And there are rumblings that it's looking more like October now. -----signature----- (none)

	I am kinda on the edge with this one. October is my usual computer refresh date and my 950 is starting to get a bit dated. It's still plenty strong for most of what I do, but I am more multitasking oriented than game/omg overclock ftw oriented so this could be a nice switch for me. From all that I have read, this chip will be stronger overall when it comes to multitasking and vming than the intel series. Which makes sense considering how true this is with their server chips. We just have not seen any setups and test rigs with it to find out for sure... -----signature----- I know I'm going to hell, I'll bring marshmallows. Caldari.
