I am trying to build a gear temp for a Shadowblade.

Only a few restrictions.

1. No relic Fragment
2. Would prefer to use Shadowed Ice Queen Crown, and Royal Dragonslayers Jerkin (both Mid)
3. Use 2x Astralist Ring of Impulse to cap reactionary dmg, and pve evade.
4. If at all possible, make it a weaponless template, or at least very close so there is minimal stat loss when swapping.

Aside from that, using any gear dropped or crafted, need to cap or come close to capping in order:

Str, Qui, Dex, Con, melee resists, heat/colt/spirit, energy/matter/body.

Melee dmg, style dmg, melee spd.

The toon is a critblade spec, so no need for envenom on the gear.

Specd 44/44/50 stealth, axe, crit. Figuring the +4 for rr5, I only need +2 axe and +2 stealth on the armor (which is taken care of by the chest.)

---------------

I have not used any templating program for this game in quite some time, so I could really use a hand with it.

If I were to make the template you are looking to build I'd try to stay away from the TG hat. The vest is nice, but save me the trouble of looking up on Zham and tell me specifically the use or the stat you desire on the hat?

I made a weaponless template on Ywain for my SB and used mostly crafted. Maxed Str and Quickness is high. Caps weapon speed anyway. You don't need Dex. Even a Norsemen will reach max evade bonus, and no need for dex on damage, all your damage is str based. Getting your dex over 250 anyway you can is enough for defense. SB's can't even parry so just worrying about evade, I'd almost little if any in template. Your build should be pretty easy to achieve with Dragonslayer BP, or TG BP, and the rest crafted armor. Slipping in some rings to get your bonuses like Astralists ones and getting some other cool gizmos, is always the challenge, but even BP items from merchant, and the gems, bracers etc, from the dragons, should cap you on everything.

If your interested in my line of thinking message me in Game, or send email, @ jheit99@yahoo.com

You are right about dex not effecting dmg, but I dont believe you can cap evade on this server. you can only cap vs certain level mobs. The higher you go, you will see steady benefits of higher dex till it reaches the hardcap. ... even still, that is why i put things in the order i did.

the weaponless makes it really difficult for the melee damage and speed and style damage. a big problem with what you want is how limited your spell crafting slots are, its a big problem i had when coming up with a template for my ns. in the end you will have to sacrifice things more then you want.

i agree about the dex, though i have no real proof of it.

Don't skip out on Slayer Arms/Pants. Those heal procs help out a lot.

When making a weaponless tank template, it isn't mandatory to have 10% melee/style damage, because a lot of your weapon options are going to have 4% to one or both.
