FINALLY!! One of my favorite zones that has been ignored for about 6 years...

The Summoners of the Summoner's Hall have been ignored for too long, and have been able to increase their power significantly as a result. Aidon the Archwizard, Summoner Roesia, Summoner Losseren, Summoner Cunovida, and Grand Sommoner Govannon now provide greater challenges and rewards to the fighters of the realms.

and I just talked to a dev who was inside Summoner's Hall with me just now, he said it will be a great raid place for Gaheris now, good encounters and he said the items were a secret but he gave me a sneak peak at the Summoner's Shawl update:

10% thrust
10% crush
10% slash
+48 hits

+ 2% myth resist cap + stat: slash/thrust/crush
+ 25 hit cap

10 charges of AE qui/dex debuff
10 charges of 180 heal

Summoned demons are a higher level, and he resets his nodes. The current version can be easily annihilated by a competent pbae trio, I don't think my pet's HP ever got under 50%. ML9 pet, stick on GS, pbae down the nodes on chanter, toss up focus shield, heal pet as needed. If an add (which are currently yellow/oj) goes after the druid, chanter pbae'd it to death before tossing focus back up. Took me less than 10 minutes.

More importantly, I hope that they fix the portal bugs down there, as the locations of the portals don't mesh up with the art at ALL, currently.

Good news for people who like to farm. Bad news for people who were expecting a challenging raid fight.

That's how the live server version works, NOT the new encounter. I haven't seen the new encounter yet, because I don't have an outfitted hib tank.

I'm making a hero to go play with the new encounter as we speak, however. I'll have him 50 and geared out by the end of the day tomorrow, and make a field trip to SH on Pend after that.

If anyone's got some hibbies who're templated out and want to make that field trip with me, let me know.

from what I experienced on Pendragon testing with my two rr13 SM and shaman, I am estimating the new summoners can be done with 1 solid group, but I am sure it will be like the way when they updated the Hydra/Xanxi/Nosdoden; it took us about 3-4 groups to do at first until we figured it out, now 1 good group can do them. And yes, the Grand Summoner dyes your heads pink! WTF!! angry

The current Grand Summoenr can be easily done with just a Necro/Bot.

Unless they change how the encounter works and doesnt just make the mobs higher lvl and nodes respawn, 2 necros 1 Cleric should be able to do him.

I took a rr13 Chanter/Druid/Hero trio down there to toy around with him. His aoe-dd hits harder (still not at all hard), MUCH more frequently, with a larger radius, the mobs are a bit higher con (still a non-issue for a pbae team), and the nodes respawn quite quickly.

He would probably be easily doable with two pbae trios. Have one set up on top of the fire node (so that pbae drops it as soon as it respawns, hopefully), have the 2nd move between killing the heal node and killing Summoner, helping with heals, add control and other things as needed. 2 healers would probably be nice to have, due to the high volume of interrupts.

The other direction, he could probably still be focus pulled with an ml9 pet. ML9 a pet, have pet tank GS while the rest of the group takes care of nodes, have the pet keep GS in the middle of the room, where the aoe-dd won't bother the healers.

so in light of the recent fix where they also updated the sub-bosses... this place is going to be a sweet raid dungeon. Nytcha is a wolf that could easily be killed by a duo.. umm not anymore:



the thing multiplies himself and pbaes all over the place, and he has about 10 times the hit points now.

she spawns little orange con pets that proc AE disease every time they hit you, they die easy to PBAE. I got her to 25% HP, but died cuz too many spawned and couldn't PBAE them all down =\

not live yet, this is all on Pendragon. The encounters are a mix of difficulty, some can be duoed, others are like the magic relics in terms of challenge. Nothing too crazy though, but I haven't engaged the Grand Summoner long enough to really tell.
