Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Epic dungeons = cab/cleric
everything else blocker/buffer/pbaoe
but since these are going to be fresh chars @ rr1 .. then probably necro/ani/menty/cleric would work well

Thats the setup me and a friend used to have. (Ment/Ani/Cleric/Necro). Was nothing we could not do. We even made it to Xanxicar and farmed him for a few days. This was a few years ago mind you but we had a hell of a time making it down to him.

I think when I took that team down to Xanx, could only pull 2 of the mobs at time on the way down. That was spamming the necro pet with abs/bt from the ani, and keeping HoTs up. Was such a PITA getting down there lol and then of course I got owned on Xan himself once I finally did get down there lol. Those elites just hit for retarded amounts of dmg.

Lvl'd a lot of toons using ani/ment/cleric/necro setup. I would try lvling up a chanter to go along with it for arti mobs/mls/pbae etc..

Trick with Xanxicar back then was to have the Ani and Ment out of group. Cleric never heals just DI3 or 5 now w/e. Elites never show up that way, they did show up once but we logged the cleric out before he could get killed. Ani and ment didnt get touched. We didnt even fight on the way down the hall to get to Xanxicar, we just put up CT down the hall, and sprinted down as far as we could make it. Cleric out of group right after DI ended and logged him out, logged back in and rezzed up. Bam your at Xanxicar. Haha, as you can see this took a while for us to figure out.
I should add my necro was higher rr and you could get aug con 5 and toughness 5 then. You almost had to have that, it came close every time.

Hah, yea that sounds like it would have been a whole lot easier lol. Don't think my mentalist/ani/necro were even ml1 (maybe a max of ml3 now), believe the cleric was ml5 though. Just remember I had to really have everything going constantly and on point or the necro pet would get 3 shot.
