And if you miss a payment, be prepared for a red hot poker. 29.99% penalty rate if you miss a payment. I've had bad rates before on cards, but not nearly this bad.
Seriously, this probably one of the worst cards I've ever seen, if not the worst. And the fact that Blizzard was willing to partner with these jokers... well I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I think all credit cards should have incredibly high penalty rates like that, maybe then people would learn how to manage their credit properly instead of being complete morons.

I was laid off two years ago in fact. Living on credit cards when you can't pay the balance is just plain stupid and irresponsible. Go out and apply for another job and in the mean time draw unemployment and look up any community aid programs that are available. I'll call anyone who uses credit cards with the intent to not pay the balance a fool who deserves all the crap that comes with that behavior.
Edit: Actually it might have been three years ago. I learned how to live within my means and to find jobs where I can get them.

I have to agree with Quasi...
Under normal times, there shouldn't be a single charge on your credit cards.
Sure an online sub or shopping (for obvious reasons)..perhaps a spree at Christmas or a birthday, or an emergency like a tow-truck or new tire...but then those should be paid off in a timely fashion.
Anything else is pure stupidity, plain and simple.
Edit: If you don't have the cash for it, you don't buy it, because you damn sure don't have the cash + interest for it.

Quazi is right. Credit cards are a crutch and just having them allows you to soften the pain of losing things which would normally motivate you. It also allows you to try to maintain an employed lifestyle even though it is unsustainable without good employment. And you know what is better to have in an emergency? Cash. Borrowing is the last thing you want to do when things have gone to shit.
Save money, live within your means, and delay gratification until you can actually pay for what you want. That's my 2 cents.
