I had no interest in seeing this but I'm hearing crazy things about Andy Serkis + WETA and what they did with Caesar so my opinion has changed.
Might check it out next week.

My usual movie date liked Apes a lot more than Capt America, though he is a comic book junkie and felt that they didn't do Capt America proper.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only very very minor complaints, but they were complaints that would be given for any released-by-hollywood movie - not specific to apes
