Cool, Thank you! happy (/e watches pile of rares start to disappear)

I have a question: is it possible to make installing DX9c optional? My reasons for asking are:
1) I remember having to put DX9c on when I installed Decal 2.9.6.0, so it's already there.
2) The Decal dx installer always gives me this error on XP-32bit and 7-64bit and I end up having to download a special DX9c installer to run manually; "An error occured while installing system components for Decal 2.9. Setup cannot continue until all system components have been successfully installed."

Hmm, my normal procedure of manually installing DirectX9c isn't working on my win7-64bit box anymore..
My winXP-32bit computer both installed just fine using the automatic decal directx isntaller.

Any suggestions? If not its ok. This isn't urgent since version 2.9.6.0 is still working fine on the win7 machine...

This decal is built against a newer dxsdk than 2960 was, that's why you need to install dx again.

If the dx installer isn't working on your machine, something i shorribly wrong on your compter since the dxwebsetup hasn't changed in forever.

Ok, a newer release of 9.0c. LoL. Why aren't they calling it 9.0d then? or e or f .... ie ie

But i found this newer version of the redistributable download and installed that, then installed Decal 2.9.6.5 and it went right through on my Win 7 64bit box.

I would suspect one of your plugins. Start turning them off one by one to test. Start with the ones not in my list below...

One's i'm running that seem to be working fine are:

I have exactly the same issue with 2.9.6.5 and did not with 2.9.6.4.

I could be wrong but it seems the issue is that the Decal interface Skin *.BMPs required for the tabbed interface were not included in the installer for 2.9.6.5.

Ah, yes, i forgot to mention that this release breaks plugin manager. I will need to update it to work properly... (i forgot)

Looks like MakeIt is not installed, which is part of the reason it's broken

While poking around in the old code see if it is feasible to shutdown
the forwarding of messages after terminate is sent to plugins.
Just wondering if this may be the cause of some of the Toon Switching CTDs.

Although it might please people to have less CTDs from using broken plugins, I was
really thinking the filters where getting into trouble.
