Subject: Nvidia "Project Denver" coming in 2012
In January Nvidia announced it was working on an ARM processor called "Project Denver".

BSN has some information on it's progress now.

It will be an 8 core ARM processor, either a Cortex A15 or something called PD (can't find any info on what that is). Will include a Fermi based 600 series GPU with 256 CUDA cores and PhysX support. The 8 core ARM processor will include 64 bit support and probably be clocked around 2 to 2.5GHz.

This thing is gonna be too big for phones or even tablets, seems it's primary purpose is for servers, but Nvidia is working on a chipset for desktops and laptops too. The motherboards will include USB 3.0. SATA 3.0, and PCI-E 3.0 support.

I would imagine we may be seeing some laptops and low end desktops with this running Windows 8 ARM edition.

That is a good move for Nvidia. They hinted at wanting to use arm for a while.

If it's small, it'd be amazing in a notebook.
