Is there a plugin that will help you shop at tradebots? Doing this manually, it is very cumbersome to ID every item, look for an item you want, check the price and then actually buy the item.
The only plugin that I found on the AC Wikki is the "Bot Shopper" plugin, but it is under the discontinued plugins section and the authors website is also down.
I might try to write a bot shopping helper plugin. I'm just getting the hang of decal development and I made some greate progress so far. But before I reinvent the wheel, I'd like to know if there is such a plugin already around.
My idea would be to scan every item in the bots tradewindow. After the scanning is done, you could search for specific items through the plugin interface. I'd make it very similar to the Lockes Army Knife inventory plugin, which is a really kick ass plugin by the way! (I only wish my ID queue wouldn't get stuck all the time)
You'd then have a list of items and 2 buttons, "Check price" and "Buy". Once the price is known, you could buy them item in a matter of a mouseclick.

Sounds like a good idea. Would make sense to me if the tradebot author wrote it / bundled it into the tradebot plugin, to reuse much of the same code. Whoever it comes from, I would definitely use something like that. What I would prefer is some interface to allow me to flag gear for review, kind of like vtank classic looter. If I still have to scroll through everything to determine if I can use it or not, its still a pain.

BotShopper is available from Silo's Toy Box. Direct link: http://www.silostoybox.com/resources/BotShopper.zip
I've been using this plugin for months and it's great. It lists everything in the trade window, then has check boxes next to things you want to buy. Click an item's point value to check it, then check the box and hit "Add items" to buy it. Really easy.

I said it once, and I'll say it again.. I don't trust a site that downloads all of the installers and hosts them right on the website without giving appropriate credit to the plugin authors or getting their approval.

Then don't use the plugin. Totally your choice.
I've been using it for months and I got the installer from that site. No-one's nicked my account details.

Just to let you know, Silos Toy Box is legit, the only plugins that are there either have a link to the download from authors sites. Plugin that are stored on the site are from plugins that cant be found from author's sites because they:
1. Either quit maintancing the plugin and given up the plugin
2. Author has quit hosting plugins. otherwise the plugin would be MIA until AC was dead.
The only advice I can say when at ANY WEBSITE:
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
IF YOU THINK ITS NOT SAFE THEN LEAVE IT & DONT USE IT
This is with any website you travel to...
