It's probably older than all of us. 
My father had one when I was a kid. Though we never used it. The slowest modem I remember using was a Zoom 300 baud modem in my Apple ][+. Though the coupler modems were not much slower at 150 baud.

I think the first modem I had was 2400 baud.
