When installing V-tank in its default folder on a brand new win7 x64 Enterprise OS I get the error shown:

I did as said and still come up with the same error. I installed all the packs and it installed most C++ dlls but not all.

V-tank is installed on my friends computer and it has the same exact c++ dlls as me. Any thoughts?

Also... Everytime I try and log in now I get this error with decal on. This is after I hit "Enter Game"

I uninstalled LT and now when I run decal I can get to the log in screen and when I hit enter game it says acclient has stopped working. and it closes.

Look on Virindi's website wiki on how to uninstall that service. That should fix your problem.

alright! Now I have decal running with AC but I am still getting the the original issue with vtank being unable to install.

Did you run the installer as Administrator (right click, run as administrator)? After you ran it, did you click on the Check Libs button?

Do you have a firewall or virus program running that could be blocking it? It looks like it stops while trying to retrieve the files from Virindi's server.

From the image it looks to me like you are trying to run the .exe from within the zip file instead of extracting it to a folder as they suggested above. Create a folder on your desktop called something like vinstaller and then run the exe.
EDIT: sorry, it looks like you did extract it to virindiinstall1008 directory. I looked at the image wrong.
EDIT: I take that back. You are running it from within the zip file. Create a directory on your desktop and then extract the two files before you run it. I can see the compressed file in the window behind the front one which means you are not extracting them first.

Good catch. I didn't pay that much attention to the SS. Bad me.
Riu, when you see "extracted" in the dos box, that is not what we are talking about.
You need to right click the file you downloaded and select extract files.

sorry but does "default folder" mean "C:\Program Files (x86)\VirindiPlugins"?
If so, then that might be the problem. Put Virindi Bundle in the same custom folder you put everything else related to AC: C:\Games\VirindiPlugins.
*edit* oops, scratch that, I just looked at one of your screen shots and i see you are putting it in C:\Games\VirindiPlugins.

If your overclocked set things back to default
Login as Administrator
Download and install decal/virindi tank only to a folder on your desktop
Decal/ac/Vtank right click properties/compatibility "run as administrator"
Try installing vtank in safe mode
Try downloading from http://www.virindi.net/plugins/ (bundle edition)
Disable anti virus software before attempting install

Yes, you need both installed in the same computers. As you gathered, VTank depends on Decal. But VTank will find the folder that Decal is installed in.

Not needed any more. The early versions of Windows Vista, when first released, had the Anti-Virus companies scrambleing for a few months to get things working. But thats old news by now. I always have AV running when doing ANY installations.

It is the enterprise edition but used on my private comp. I live with my cousin who has the same exact thing on his and it worked just fine.

OK my experience on a new computer was I had to uninstall and reinstall several times.
But I had to install everything remotely related to AC in the same file under C:/Games
Extract Virindi to that folder as well and then run it from that folder as well..
install all .net framework Oldest to newest. This was odd but I had to install all of them!!!

I think so. I have looked at everything I can imagine and the only thing I can think of is that your machine and/or .net framework install is messed up.

If reinstalling .NET doesn't work, you may have overclocked your PC while installing windows - generally a bad idea, any errors can cause all sorts of weird issues like this.

My PC is not overclocked. Fully Removed and reinstalled .net and still doesnt work

Did you go back to Windows Updates and re-apply all available updates again (multiple times until is says there are none left) after removing/reinstalling .Net?

At this point your only option might be to just setup a VNC server on your box and let someone VNC in and try to figure it out.

Prob just gonna do a full reinstall of windows. Have nothing on the comp anyway.

Oh! heck no, If I had known you had nothing else on the pc I would have made "wipe & reinstall" be my first suggestion.. =) hehe
I used to do that once a week just for the fun of it. Have fun!
