opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least

signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Must be me, any help would be appreciated. AC runs fine but decal will not run in game.

1) DX9.0c isn't installed
2) the decal file service says <no dll>.
Install dx9.0c first. It does not matter if you have a later version of DX, you must have 9.0c installed also. After that see if you still get the error for the decal fileservice. If you do try to reinstall decal.

But I do have it installed.
The problem occurs when I try and update decal. It says that a fille being updated is still in use, close that program and try again.
Except I am not running any other programs.....
I guess I will try and uninstall decall and install again.

Have you tried to use the manual update utility? The exe is in your decal folder.

The problem was I had decal set up under program files, not under C/AC/Plugins....duh.
