Got to learn to watch the clock.

I was through with my dailies and decided to do an instance run with my new mage. He was created so I could try out Arcane and have a mage on my other account for portals.

As an Arcane mage I was disappointed to begin with. A few patches have brought it up to par. I started out third or forth in DPS fairly often but now I’m mostly one or two.

I’ve just hit the outlands. I joined the last group as they had finished the first boss. I needed that boss on this run to complete the quest.

We started out ok. The Tank was ripping through Orcs and no one was causing problems. In the third mob the tanks starts calling the DK names because he had blood spec on. The DK insisted that blood was good because he would do less DPS and therefore not draw agro.

The name calling went back and forth for a number of minutes. Not wanting to add to the conflict I tried something simple. “Please don’t insult each other.”

That got us no where so I tried to boot the DK. There was a 12 minute wait. For several mobs we would stand around while the Tank and DK would take verbal slashes at each other. We started the boss and of course the DK left. Could have been worse, most times it is the tank that leaves us hanging.

We took down the boss and I got the head. The new player was a DK so of course the tank starts in on him about how bad the last DK was. The DK was mature and acted like he was sorry. We let the tank rant on while we moved through. One person sent me a tell asking if I could kick the Tank. I said I had just tried; there was a two minute wait.

We finished it all off and everyone but the tank left the group. I decided to see what I could do about his attitude. I explained that he was at least half the problem with that conflict and could have handled it better. He disagreed of course but was polite about it.

After I left the group I noted the time, 3 PM. Of course, (smacks head) K-12 just let out. I knew better than to run groups at that time. I have to learn to watch the clock.

There are three kind of liberals;
Stupid, ignorant or evil
The result is always evil but the intent is not always evil. Not that it makes much difference in the long run.

Towards the very end, I thought you were going to say you forgot to pick up the grandkids from school because you were busy with WoW tongue

The group was probably formed before the kids got home; Children and younger folks do not hold the monopoly on rude behavior and douchebaggery.

Never!!! batting I'd never do such a thing!

Yeah I had to drop on a grp a few times due to not watching the time. I try not to run things during certains hours of the day.
