to match colors on armor.

I used DCS before, don't know if it still works or if it has been incorporated into a new plugin.

Thanks.

DCS still works and Virindi Tank and Alinco have features that allow it to show the color's when picking up items.

How's this work in Vtank?

I looked through all the pages of documentation and didn't see anything particular. I probably looked in the wrong place, but still. Would love to do this with Vtank since I already use it.

Thanks again!

VTank calculates example colors from palette override entries for use with the VTClassic system. These example colors are displayed in a /vt propertydump.

Ok, I see this in the propertydump

17:09:45 [VTank] Palette Entry 0: ID 0x00044D, Ex Color: 885300, 136/16
17:09:45 [VTank] Palette Entry 1: ID 0x00044D, Ex Color: 804F00, 80/12
17:09:45 [VTank] Palette Entry 2: ID 0x000690, Ex Color: 441E05, 92/4
17:09:45 [VTank] Palette Entry 3: ID 0x0005C8, Ex Color: 622F48, 152/8
17:09:45 [VTank] Palette Entry 4: ID 0x001131, Ex Color: 2C1205, 72/8

When you say displayed, this is what you mean? Or is there a way I can actually view the color in vtank also?

alinco3 sticks the numeric number(s) at the end of the ident verbage.

i would hazard a guess, if yu wanted to see the colors, you'd have to resort to the old DCS plugin.

It's Alinco that can display DCS colors if it's installed, I know that Rhesus has been maintaining the color file itself at least.

http://www.vtrii.com/ac/index.htm is his site, I believe he's working out out any Sedgemail color changes atm, but not seen him mention any update for DCS's color file yet.
