This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

If you like getting up in the mob's face then you might want to pick a tanking or melee class. If you prefer to stay out of the direct action and have a good view of the whole playing field, you might like a ranged class or healer. It's all about having fun so pick what sounds fun!" 	There are basically 4 different play styles in WoW (correct me if I've forgotten one): - Tank - Ranged DPS - Melee DPS - Healer Everything else is just variations of style on the same theme -----signature----- SWTOR: 50 Jedi Shadow (Tank), 50 Sith Marauder (Annihilation). LOTRO: Lifetime account, playing very casually. WoW: Both accounts canceled for now. GW2: Future Warrior.

	Picking a class can be tricky. While every class is viable, this doesn't hold true for every role that the class can perform. Well it depends on your definition of viable... My definition is not handicapped compared to others. For PvP you have a much narrower selection of viable class specs, with end game PvE you have a bit more of a selection but there is no guarantee that the class and role you choose will be viable in current end game without a little checking(and this is a moving target). Every class, spec and role is viable, if all you are interested in is questing. So next I guess what we can tell you is pick the play style that you like. The closest you can get are the 4 roles mentioned above. If you are picking based on the class mechanics however there is no guarantee that they won't be changed completely in a future patch. IMHO the best advice about choosing a class is don't. Level at least 2 that are of the playstyle you like and you should be fairly safe as far as one of them being viable at any given time. -----signature-----
