opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per

signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Can't dual log with Vtank - recent issue

I just switched over from Ltx to Vtank and I love it. Vtank has some awesome features. I was dual-logging fine it seems until I started messing with looting and profiles. I used the utank tool to modify RippedRabbits loot profile and saved it as my toon name. Now I go in to Vtank and I can loot with my profile - np.
But, since that change (to the best of my knowledge), I can no longer log in a second account. When I try to log in another account from ACDC it starts like normal, but before I get vials or anything, I get an error: "Failed to establish a connection to the server. Please try again in a few minutes."
If I log out of that account and launch my 2nd from ACDC, np - I can get in just fine. If I try to log in the other account, same message. I can't get them both in anymore.
So my thought was, maybe I need to do something with the install of Vtank to access profiles in different directories? Is Vtank trying to access files in use or something? Thoughts?
Windows Vista 32-bit OS.
Looked on this site and on Vtank site and didn't find info on it. If it is posted somewhere else...didn't come across it.

1) post an export
2) did you have ac-dc installed, then install Vtank?
3) logging out and logging in a 2nd account just uses the same first position. make sure your /2 /3 subdirectories of turbine\throne of destiny ..... have all the files of the primary folder.

I've had ACDC working for a long time. I've even had it working with LTx recently and even with Vtank, but just in the last 2 days I can't get the second account in. The only change I can think of is that I started using profiles on vtank.

question 2 you seem to avoided
i asked if you were using AC-DC, ltx, and then installed Vtank.
i've had some issues which were cleared up if ac-dc was the last thing installed. could try deleting ac-dc and reinstalling the app. it shouldn't delete any of the /2 /3 directories

I've had ACDC installed a while now - at least a year or more. I have been using LTx, but just last week I switched to vtank. Even with vtank, it worked fine dual logged until I started setting up profiles for looting. Now I can't get in second account, no matter which I'm on.
I could try reinstalling ACDC if you think that would help.

Ok, I just got in after disabling a few things in Decal. I unchecked Make-it, Vtank Hotkey, and Alinco. Not sure what the hang-up was...but I'm in for now.
I'll slowly add them back in and see if I can isolate it now.
