"Raid Leading can be a high stress and difficult role to take on. It can be made easier though. Make sure you delegate and get help from a group of people willing to help raid lead instead of just depending on one or two people. That way you don't burnout one person then you're left wondering who's gonna lead your guild's raids now."

The fact that raid "burnout" even exists further proves that raiding is still a completely fail end game model, hence why the majority of players still don't do them.

Obviously people haven't lead a guild before, or gave up when it was challenging. It is fun but it is work.

ridiculous statement.
Do almost anything enough times, even the stuff that you enjoy, and you will usually get tired of doing it.

People burn out on all/any aspects of the game (or any game) whether they're in positions of leadership or not. People burn out on leveling too then complain about endgame in the same breath. Some people probably should take a break from MMOs.

Raiding has been around a while because it's fun and one of the better endgame ideas - it just requires a certain degree of effort and availability that doesn't suit all players. I thought bliz did a pretty good job with their approach in wotlk to get more people raiding than ever - that they totally threw out the window with cata, which is one of the biggest design flaws with cata. You can't have ultra ez-mode 1-2 day leveling to 85 mixed with ultra ez-mode gearing up then slap people in the face with raid difficulty that casuals can't remotely handle.

People generally play MMOs way more than they do other games, especially WoW, and one reason for WoW's popularity is how much and how well done the endgame options are. What else would you suggest? It's not like raiding is the only option, it's just one of the options.

Agreed.

IMO it gets tougher as the genre shifts towards more solo ez-mode, less group-oriented activities that matter, and more of me me me and instant gratification.

Definitely, and that's true for ANY MMORPG, not only WoW.

If you think my opinion is idiotic, re-read yours.
Dont worry I will give my opinion anyways.
The PvP MMO is NOT a "niche" market, Mythic is just a "niche" company.
