Not officially posted to the beta page until we have confirmation that the parser is working, but if you want to have a go it is up at http://www.decaldev.com/beta/2963/setup.exe

This version also includes the updated fair IDQueue system that I have been working on.

This system fairly splits IDQueue requests between different calling assemblies (with unmanaged plugins treated as a single caller). This should in most cases prevent any one plugin from monopolizing the IDQueue.

The new IDQueue also does not fire the same request repeatedly and instead moves on to the next pending request and comes back to the failed one later. This prevents re-requesting when ping is over 600ms as well as stalling on an unobtainable ID and blocking other IDs while it repeatedly fails the same request.

The FairIDQueue also provides extra functionality to adapter plugins through Core.IDQueue. This will be expanded over time but currently it contains support for adding an ID request which contains a DateTime timeout. If the timeout expires and the item is in the queue, it will be removed rather than requesting it again. Items added through other means are given an implicit infinite timeout.

just reporting so you are aware, note since i reported the intial issue WAY late in the development cycle I did not expect any fix to the issue.

SortIt!, still wont sort.

SortIt!, the strip feature of removeing items doesen't work.

SortIt!, the equip feature 'mostly' seems to work, some items will be equipped some like a focus stone won't and if it's the first in the que to be equipped nothing is equipped till the focus stone is manually equipped.

We'll have to get Gouru to cough up the Sort It! source to figure out what exactly it is doing.

Should people be uninstalling the prior version (in my case, 2.9.6.0) of Decal before installing the betas, or can we just run the installer?

it is MY belief that if you still have the original decal MSI installed, that the beta will remove the older version.

I didn't have the msi installed as i'd moved it onto a CD to make space avail and clean things up. So during the beta 2962 install it choked some and left 2960 along. when i installed 2963 it removed 2962. so i got the original MSI and add/removed decal 2960 and things seem to be fine except for reports above.

Thanks VI. I'd noticed the ac+ not drawing problem a while ago but hadn't complained yet.

alinco3, May be having a troule with pack inventory.

i have a vtank pet following me around and i dump stuff off onto it and keep the salvage junk on the other as we go.

last couple of days while doing this i've consistently gotten the message about auto pickup shutting down due to only 2 slots left in inventory - more like 20 left upon visiual inspection.

BuffMe goes wild with this version seems like. It just equips and unequips the wand over and over.

Edit: Castaway is doing the same thing.

I have to LOL at the 'vtank pet' comment laugh

Alinco3 tells me it can pick things up because I have -78(or other random negative number) slots. Also, after a few corpses, it doesn't ID or pick anything up unless I manually ID the item on the corpse. Also, it won't show corpses or items on the hud though it seems to display everything else (portals, etc...)

Buffme still has the same problem as in Decal 2.9.6.2, it goes into an endless loop of equipping and un-equipping (is that a real word? lol) the casting device.

These aren't parser problems, all of the above are most likely (and Sort It! is definitely) due to a bug we fixed with the way slots work. I don't know if Alinco is still being updated but if it is we are probably going to just let it fly, Decal 2960 was never meant to be a full release version of Decal with forward compatibility.

yall need to get off alinco and learn the Vtank looting profiles, It's setup is super easy once you get the hang of it and the looting ingame is seemless. I only know about it because i surfed the crap out of the virindi website until i found something on looting.

it's setup IS NOT easier, invovles a ton of programming.

Using VTank Classic Looter may not be the most intuitive thing in the world, but if you start with an established profile (lino posted one not long ago), it's not difficult to tweak to suit your needs. Also, once you get the hang of how to configure it, it's really quite easy.

I wish I'd gotten off Alinco months ago. VTank is FAR better.
