	Blizzard posted: What could be better than an evening of fine dining and pleasant conversation in support of a worthy cause? On Thursday, October 21, Blizzard hosted a special dinner to benefit the Children?s Hospital of Orange County Children's Foundation. Guests were able to mingle with game developers, artists, executives, community managers, and other Blizzard Entertainment representatives. We?re happy to announce that on Friday, January 7, thanks to the generosity of our attending VIPs, we were able to present a check to the CHOC Children?s Foundation totaling $75,000. 	Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they donated SOMETHING, but only $75k? Seriously? From a company that rakes in untold millions every MONTH, and that's it? And it took them 4 months to shell out the cash? And you know the only reason they did it was for PR buzz. Plus the money wasn't even theirs, it's money they raised from donations. Of course they made the statement to make themselves look good, but to me they just look petty. At the very least they should have matched donations raised if they wanted to actually make a difference and actually EARN some respect from this announcement. -----signature----- I'm a lurker and I know it. Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing. :P
