	Rock Chalk Jayhawk, KU! I can not wait for the game tomorrow, I get done with class at one in the afternoon and I plan on being in line at 2. Don't forget Juzzy boy you guarenteed Missouri would sweep the Hawks this year. I still think your wrong. 	I guaranteed a sweep if we got our whole class in. As you know, our top 15 recruit did not make it to campus - was screwed over by the NCAA/Frank Martin - while your top 15 recruit gets away with taking money/gifts and gets a 9 game benching but becomes eligible relatively easy... So that kinda makes the guarantee not so guaranteed. Without Selby tonight, you guys should win. With him its a toss up. 	From what I have read the problem with the Missouri guy ruled ineligible was his acedemics. The Selby situation is entirely different. 	ya, two completely separate problems but typically things just don't work out in Mizzou's favor (ever it seems) when we have to rely on the NCAA for anything. Tony was a KSU recruit originally and Frank sent him to a school in Florida to get his grades. Once he switched from KSU to Mizzou the school in Florida suddenly wouldn't submit his transcripts and his stuff didn't translate when he went back to Dallas. Having said that, Tony is ultimately responsible for getting his core classes and grades and he didn't do it. He took some bad advice and its fun to blame Frank Martin for his not being here! But as a partial qualifier he got into North Texas and might play again if he does not declare for the draft. Selby just took improper benefits and as we all know, that is certainly something the NCAA frowns upon severely and looks to make examples of students who risk their eligibility.. lol I almost said that with a straight face! Take all the money you want, ultimately you get to play and only have to pay back a small percentage! *this message is not just brought to you by Selby, but many other high profile athletes this past year. But I still maintain that with our guards, a 6'9" scoring low post presence with NBA potential is the missing piece! of course, a LOT of teams could say that! -----signature----- 61% of all hits on the internet are on sex sites.. .. .... ...... 	Hey I am all for the lets blame Frank Martian for everything game, I do not like that guy much if at all. K-States season has given me a wonderous laugh. 	Wave the Wheat baby! What a great game, nice back and forth action in the first half. Too much three point shooting by KU in the second half. Both teams were pretty hot today, but KU was just unstopable it seemed like from behind the arc, everything was falling. I doubted that Missouri could beat us in Columbia this year going into this game, but I dont know now, they are prehaps better than I gave them credit for. 	Was a good game overall. The second half... not so much. Between the refs calling fouls on everyone on the floor (and some people sitting on the MU bench I think) and ku's ridiculous shooting from behind the arc (I swear I saw Reed shoot one behind his back, from half court, off the scoreboard.. and it went in). 	I am thinking about going to the game in Columbia. I may not, my girlfriend is too scared to go watch a game in Columbia. I think it would be fricking amazing, to be booed by the entire arena when I walk it, it would be a great experience. She is convinced people will throw batteries, I am convinced that would make it even more worth trip. 	I have been to several sporting events at MU and not once have I ever seen fans throw anything. I have seen some of the students get mouthy with opposing fans but usually either 1. they are really drunk or 2. they are reacting to opposing fans being dicks. /edit I take that back. Back when I was a student we did throw oranges during football games (not very often cause we were really bad), but those were tossed at the field - not visiting fans or players. We were also on the MU side of the stadium so we tried really hard not to hit players. /end edit If you come here looking to be booed then I am sure you will find a way to get booed. If you just want to watch a game and not start trouble, then you should be fine. The students don't have a large portion of Mizzou arena and its a noon game so staying away from drunk fans should not be a problem. FYI if you can get tickets, the student section is on the 120/101 side of the area. Looking on stub hub there are no tickets available there though (and I might say you are going to pay a good bit for 2 tickets). also not that you claimed it to be, but ku isnt always friendly to visitors either - most fans are ok, but there are those in all fan bases. Take this thread on the free mizzou board from Monday's game. http://www.tigerboard.com/boards/missouri-tigers.php?message=8320590 If you do come down, we can most assuredly get together for a meal after the game. Would love to discuss the game and/or rivalry with you (and/or your imaginary girlfriend) over some food. If we win, I might even be in a good enough mood to pay. Please notice I said MIGHT.. 	My friend posted this on his facebook status right after the game: "Wow apparently Mario Little can hit more than his girlfriend." I loled so hard when I saw that. One of the camping groups here is named "Mario Little, in his girlfriends bedroom, with a lead pipe." I love these Mario Little jokes, they crack me up every time. Tickets are pretty expensive on a college student budget, so I do not imagine I will be able to get ahold of any.
