"Did you know that you can prevent Karsh from summoning adds at all during the encounter? And it makes it a whole lot easier too! Simply have your tank make sure that he drags Karsh through the fire every 8-10 seconds or so in order to refresh the debuff he has. If he debuff doesn't fall off, he doesn't summon adds! Caution: Your tank/healer may have to blow some cooldowns towards the end of the fight when the stacks get really high."

I find it easier to do the fight that way and get him to 15 stacks over getting the adds.

Can't wait until next expansion when all the bosses must only be fought on the indigo triangles while he is facing north-north-west, special abilities can only be used when the fog is purplish gray and the three adds have been kited to the special immobile NPC while he has a PW:S buff on him cast by a priest with only between 23% and 44.8% mana, and use of any weapon starting with the letter S damages the party/raid instead of the boss. Oh, and if anyone does anything slightly wrong, or too slowly, or too quickly, or on ticks where the seconds end in the number "6", the entire party is wiped with a million damage AE.

Because gimmick fights are fun!

When haven't scripted fights simply been gimmick fights in the end?

But OMG timing the gimmicks made us feel so L33T and makes my ePeeeeeeen longer than all those scrubs.

The font is translated larger on the forums by the bot. On the front page it looks exactly the size I need it to. If it really really bothers you, go read it there instead of here. ^_^

Also, a tips usefulness is relative. If you've got some relatively useful tips then submit them! I'm not going to be terribly picky wink

Eh, most people who post here are god's gift to WoW and were born knowing stuff like this, so, meh.

I think it's a good tip - I encounter plenty of pugs who still haven't done a lot of the bosses on heroics and have no clue at all. I'm pretty sure I'll be explaining boss fights for the rest of my life at this rate.

Another good tip I didn't know at first is for first boss of grim batol, general dipshizzle or whatever his name is. If you CC the diseased trogg and keep it CCed, then no more diseased troggs spawn.

You could list lotsa tips for deadmines (release monkeys and they fight for you, never use button 3 in the reaper unless you're totally nub, purge/hex, steal/sheep, tranq/strap, etc the empowering casters, destroy cannons for rep, and more.

I encounter northrend facerollers in cata heroics when I pug and it's annoying that people choose to be ignorant and intentionally stupid instead of making the marginal effort to learn content and have smoother runs.
