I looked in the FAQ and didnt see this so ill ask here. I play quite a few different characters, many mules, many trade things, many hunters of different types for fun. My problem lies with the looting rules changing back to defaults and certain settings changing back to default. My guess is it loads some from characters who i dont use to hunt and saves it as that when i log them on using alinco 3 possibly. The weird thing though it changes some settings and rules but not like salvage profiles and such but i choose it to use character based loot/monster and the other character based selection, what am i doing wrong?

When using Alinco it's best to go to your documents folder and then to the Decal Plugins folder and make a copy of the Alinco folder. That way when this happens, you have a backup that you can use to quickly restore everything back to normal.

In my experience the settings getting set to defaults has something to do with running multiple clients at the same time and logging them in and out too fast.

If you are just losing settings that you just set, that's usually because you have more than one client running when you are making the changes and you log off the client that you were using to make the changes first. Logging off the next client will then overwrite the changes you just made.
