Ok since its been quite awhile since I have played, and all of my Info I did have is WAY out of date, and lastely all of my bookmarks for good, safe websites have been lost...

Anyone have a good SAFE site with a suggested level range for the new zones? Like early 30s I was in Southshore and the highlands.. BUT when I went back there, I noticed well the alliance is pretty much out of SS...

Id rather not take 5-6 hours on a slow mount going around looking for a zone to lvl in... SO Ideas?

I guess you could always go to wowhead and look at the zones list it gives a level range http://www.wowhead.com/zones#0+2+1

also this site http://www.ding85.com/ has leveling guides and you can see where he takes you at what level, though honestly i found no use of a leveling guide when leveling my new character, with heirlooms, guild perks and dungeon quests i found myself out leveling zones way before i did all the quests.

Edit: o and disclaimer... ding85 is a site with the purpose of selling you a gold "making" guide. As long as you ignore that part of the site and just look around the leveling guides you should be fine, further then that i don't know how safe it is.

If you visit Stormwind you'll find a Hero's Call board near either Auction House. That will always give you a breadcrumb quest to a zone or zones that are currently in your level range. When you level out of that range, the breadcrumb quest from the Hero's Call board will change.

just do as rill said and check the hero's call board. you don't have to wonder where to go, they make sure you can easily find out which zones are in your level range and more often than not one zone will have quests to send you to the next zone up in level. blizzard did a really nice job of streamlining quests and zones and making it easy to know where to go next with their rework of the old world zones.

Be prepared for the biggest time sink, bait and switch Blizzard has ever issued.

Not only will you continually out level zones so fast that quests will be green/grey by the time you're half way through, but with phasing you will HAVE to come back and finish all those grey quests so you aren't playing in a fragmented world.

I only had this problem when I used BoA gear and even then the quests only went green towards the end of the zone. But I did not have any rested either.

Started a hunter last week on Emerald Dream, I have no resources there. He's 22, I've quested in Elwynn/Westfall up to the quest achievements and run one RFC, one Deadmines and one Wailing Caverns.

Redridge is green/grey and I just got there, and the board in SW is already telling me to go to Duskwood. If I was a new player, I wouldn't even know Redridge exists. Sure you could argue that it leaves a separate path for alts to enjoy, but the odds of you handling Redridge straight out of Elwynn are slim to none so that's moot.

I leveled a worgen druid through the new "old" areas. After the worgen starter zones, I was 14 and did Darkshore and got around level 23 or so there. I then did Ashenvale, and got to around lvl 30. I started Stonetalon mountains, and around 10 quests in or so decided to switch to Eastern Kingdoms because I started to realize that I should probably work on getting Stormwind faction to get cheaper flying skills and training.

I started out in Northern Stranglethorn Vale (apparently it was split into 2 zones now), and around lvl 36 began to queue for dungeons, then queued them like mad and was level 41 by the time I realized I should probably finish Southern STV's quest chains (which is pretty epic, Booty Bay gets invaded, and I managed to find that rare purple parrot pet which I managed to sell for 7k gold).

Then I hit Western Plaguelands (btw, for Alliance there's a mage NPC that will port you there, so you don't need to foolishly run up there to get the flightpath first like I did), Eastern Plaguelands, Badlands, Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes, Swamp of Sorrows. Though I was 60 by then, I did Blasted Lands too, partly for the achievement, partly to get more xp before going to Outlands, and partly because I wanted to see how they redid that zone as well. I really like what the did to streamline questing and make it a little more interesting.

If you want, you could pretty much level all the way to 60 just doing dungeons too with Random Dungeon Finder, although you tend to get groups faster as a tank or healer. I thought about doing this, and with faction tabards you could gain rep with a faction from mobs there (which I found after my move to STV), but I wanted to quest more. The vast majority of quests now have the NPC's at the entrance of the dungeon so you can pick up quests there and finish them. But Outland/Northrend you still need to find the quests that take you to the dungeon first if you want to do those. Cataclysm usually has an NPC at the entrance with a quest, but some of them have pre-reqs that you need to do before you can get them, such as in Vashj'ir.

That's a cool map. They should have included white in the legend IMO, but pretty handy nonetheless.
