The game is dead for you. What you play a game for ten years and now your bored with it so the game is dead ? Look your just not looking at it realistically. No one plays a game for 11 years straight and not get bored with it from time to time.

Doesn't seem dead to me. As long as people are playing, the game is alive, even if the numbers of people playing isn't what it was in AC's heyday.

The game contracted a serious, uncurable disease when Microsoft dumped it (Turbine version of events: When Turbine successfully bought back the rights to AC. lol...)
The day the game actually died was the day WoW was released.

The game died about 3 months before I finally quit.
The game got shot in the face at several points though, most notably ... When the added Dark Majesty, When they added HOARDS of portals, When they gave up banning macroers, When they added Prismatic Tapers, When they let you buy scrolls and not figure out how to make a spell.
But basically, it died in 2007. I was on the downward spiral around 2002.
