Who the eff voted Paladins? I see at least one in every group I've ever been in. I haven't seen many Ret ones though. Warriors have been pretty scarce though.

I haven't seen a DK log into our guild in a month. And yeah, everyone's paladin is going prot now but Ret is becoming quite scarce due to it's relative difficulty to play now.

At the lower end levels like (29ish) I had brought up a lock had her geared very well. Tbh this class is weak as dish water at least in those brackets, I promptly deleted the class.
Edit: As for paladins, wtf were they thinking with the prot. spec and now the /yawn Ret spec? It seems like one line is all that you need for everything now.

Where's the option specifically for disc priest? <straightface>
My DK will stick to tanking now (instead of DPS).
My pally will be stick mainly to Ret (scratching head trying to figure out why people think it's harder to play).
My druid will be resto for healing.
for the moment
And I have 13 to choose between.
It's too early to predict problems/issues or trends based on people's perceptions of same.
Come back and take the survey in 6 months, and then 6 months more after that.

I was in an EotS game the other day where literally half our team was warriors. You hit 'M' and all you saw was brown.
Haven't really seen any lack of warriors in general, and our guild MT warrior has been doing fine... the 4 heroics we've done have all gone smoothly.

I see a lot of Warrior on Stormreaver, many more than before in fact. They are pretty beast now imo and I've been leveling mine. What I don't see: Ret paladins, elemental shaman, and all DKs. I see a lot more than before: shadow priests, mages, warriors and enhance shaman.

And your opinion is based on what? Bias? Because we tested out 3 tanks this weekend, Me (warrior), our druid and a paladin. We are all similarly geared (538-541 item level equipped) and I took the least amount of damage between the 3. With vengenance up no one could tear aggro off me (I am hit and expertise capped). With the new rend + Thunderstomp combo AoE aggro has been very very easy. Paladins have it worse with consecration on a 30 second cooldown now and not producing as much threat.
So do tell, what is it the other 3 classes do better?

Been running census+ on our server nightly since launch. At level 82-85 it has been Rogue by a ton with Warlock second least played. Paladin about doubles any other class played server wide :P
Deathknight certainly has lost steam since they were released and might be the 4th or so most played class behind Pallys, Druids, and Mages.

Experience. Overall dependency. Fun factor. Paladins, druids, and death knights can pretty much solo and walkthrough mobs a warrior cannot begin to solo without a healer backing.
Besides, it's just an opinion. I didn't call your baby ugly.

I have not heard anything about warrior tanking being less effective than DK/Paladin/Druid tanking though I suspect that it is likely that DK/Paladin/Druid tanking still involves less "effort" in terms of button presses and choices of abilities to use, but that suspicion is based purely on the "status quo" in that I know what is involved with Warrior tanking and how much button pressing is involved and doubt that Blizzard made tanking with the other 3 classes considerably MORE complex than it used to be. I also suspect that there is less reliance on lots of AOE tanking (Warriors are damn solid with "AOE tanking" of groups of mobs no more than 3 or 4) which keeps Warriors competitive. It wasn't until you started to see AOE tanking of 5+ mobs that you started to see real differences in the effectiveness of warriors vs. the other tanks in WOTLK.
Of course I have only my gut feelings on this as I have not tried it out on any tank class YET.

I think you're seeing a lot of "new" shamans because of class/race expansion, same reason you're seeing a heap of troll druids. Shammies have traditionally been low on the population totem poll, no pun intended.
As much as I love mine (and it's my main), I haven't been playing it as much because elemental is still a very boring DPS rotation and though Resto is effective, I'm finding my priest (now that they "fixed" his mana regen) and pally a little more fun in terms of the variety of button pushing and cooldowns.
But again, anytime someone mentions something like the above, anecdotal evidence is anecdotal, so YMMV.
