This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	So I thought I'd give it another go after so long and the hype behind Cataclysm. But from what I can find on the web it's a stand alone expansion, you still need the others. How ironic, it's cool to hate SOE as greedy, but if I remember correctly when you bought a new EQ expansion it included the previous ones. -----signature----- (none)

	Don't know if you're too late, but there was a sale for all the core game and the expansions minus Cataclysm for around $30.00 US. Good deal if you can still get it. Edit: Apparently, it was actually $15.00 US, but that deal's flown the coop. -----signature----- Sanctimonious know-it-all.

	Those greedy ****s expecting you to get the expansion packs for the level 60-80 content before purchasing the 81-85 content. FYI: The expansion were/are on sale for $5 each in the blizzard store. Edit to add: Just checked and it's no longer on sale for $5. -----signature----- ...

They may have gone that way eventually because they had so many. 	Personally, I find it difficult to complain about the cost of MMOs. Compared to other forms of entertainment that you have to pay for, MMOs are quite reasonable. -----signature----- (none)

	If you're starting fresh why not just buy classic wow, play to 60 THEN worry about buying expansions as you go. You still get to play all the 1-60 cataclysm content without the expansion. Another quick question I was on Elune with a 34 Paly, should I bother? I logged in and its dead around Tarren Mill. 	siujoey posted: Leveling is so fast, it doesn't matter how far behind you are. You will be up to speed in no time. This is true. I'm doing all the areas for Loremaster and the storylines. Even with the grayed mobs and lower experience awards, I still leveled to forty-six and play as casual as you can. That said, I believe you do need Catacylsm to play the new races. Even so, it's like a new game in the Original Lands. No regrets coming back to the game even for a little while. Hope you have fun with the game again. -----signature----- Sanctimonious know-it-all.

If you want to play draenei or blood elf you will need vanilla and BC. If you want to play a Death Knight you will need vanilla, bc and wotlk. If you want to play goblin or worgen you will need vanilla, bc, wotlk, and cataclysm. But if the starting zones for goblin and worgen don't matter all that much to you right NOW, you can always level up a human/orc, buy the expansions as you go then consider a race change or a reroll if you like leveling. If you really want to experience the worgen starting zone then level a human then roll a worgen when you get Cata. Just to experience that but not necessarily level it. This is actually a good suggestion if money is in question. You only need the core game to see the changes to the landscape and quests, and you can even play the core races with their new class combinations. Makes sense if you're unsure about the game before dropping over one-hundred dollars in expansions. Heck, check out the Scroll of Resurrection thread on this board.
