Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

You can now mount your flying mount if you're at the surface of water. You can also fly into water with a flying mount now, after a few feet in it dismounts you though.... Still, pretty nice small change.

I discovered this recently. It made me very happy to be able to do that. It never bugged me much playing my shaman cause I would just water walk and cast my bird. But playing an alt recently, it was annoying till i figured out i could do it..
Its probably been like this forever and I was just too stupid to figure it out.

Definitely hasn't always been this way, recent change. Possibly 4.0, but I suspect 4.0.3 or 4.0.3a

Players will love this. People were always jealous of DK's because they can just hit path of frost then mount up. Now won't even have to do that woot!
