	By the way people are acting here on campus it sounds as though your score is being very generous toward KU. 	Well, I think its the media's fault for that. Really, I constantly hear that MU has a prolific offense and we just don't. We have scored: 14, 17, 17, 23, 26, 27, 30, 36, 38, 50, and 56 points this year. The 50 points games were against the Miami (OH) and McNeese State. While that averages to 30 points a game - take out those two games we drop to 25 points a game. We have only been giving up 16 points a game. Its really been the defense that wins games for us (or loses them). I'd almost bet money there is no way we score 40 points Saturday, much less beat you by 40. 	KU Defense has away to make any opposing offense look great. With the exceptions of Nebraska and Iowa State, who hasn't put up big numbers on us in Big 12 play? I can see why people are not very hopeful about this game, but on the other hand we were supposed to lose big last year, and had it not been for a questionable play on 3rd and ten from the one yard line we might have ended up beating you. I think the game will be somewhat tight, you can never count a team out of these rivalry games. KU has a long way to go though if we want to keep the series tight, it is completely obvious that Missouri has pulled miles ahead of our football program. 	This game really did not feel like a Border War game. I looked around that stadium and saw thousands of empty seats, and the stadium itself lacked much energy. This rivalry needs both team to be decent, otherwise it will turn into another KU-Kstate rivalry, in which one side could careless depending on the sport. 	Yeah, I know, I was sitting in that empty endzone reserved for KU students. This is what made me realize that unless KU football rebuilds itself atleast a little bit, then this rivalry will quickly become a basketball only rivalry. If seasons like this continue, then the game will definitely not survive in Arrowhead anymore. I sense a complete lack of careing from the KU side of this football game, and that really does disturb me. As much as I hate Missouri, I love this rivalry and I love the fact that this is a great rivalry series; the won loss column for both teams is almost completely even. In fact if you go back 15 years, the score is 8-7 Missouri, and it is like that all the way back to 1891 when it was first played. Times are changing though, Missouri is on the verge of becoming an annual ranked national power in football, and KU looks as though it will continue its trend of only being relevent once every decade.
