Anyone know or think if these costs will be reduced come Cata? It is close enough now that I think I can hold off training them until then if that was the case. I dont' want to pay for them now and them half the cost or something when Cata hits.

4.0.1 reduced Cold Weather Flying from 1000 gold to 500 gold, as well as making it trainable at level 68 instead of needing the Tome. Are you asking if they are reducing it further when the expansion hits?
I don't know the answer, just trying to clarify the question. Most people don't know it was reduced already.

Cold weather has already been reduced...
You can reduce epic flying yourself by running random heroics with no tabard, and becoming exatled with (insert offensive faction name for Horde or Alliance here), or by becoming exalted with the starter areas from BC (for horde its thrallmar, i imagine its honor hold for alliance)..
Either of these reps will get you epic for 4k instead of 5k...as each level of rep reduces the cost by 250 gold.
As far as further reductions in cata..i would lean toward "no"..but i say this only because they have already lowered alot of prices, such as dual spec, and cold weather..

Dual spec reduction is what is prompting my question really. It went down from 1000g to 100g...
I don't want to be kicking myself paying 5k gold now If I can train it for half that come cata.
