I think the only spoiler needed is that it was the death of Shyamalanananon's career. I'm not going to bother looking up the spelling of his name because he doesn't deserve that much respect.

I haven't seen it. And I hear it's terrible. But I still want to see it because I like the TV series. Will probably rent it once it's available on red box for $1.

It's out on Netflix now, so I guess I'll watch it and see how badly they butchered it. I guess to be fair, he was condensing the entire first season into one movie, which is always hard to do.

That said, I've watched some of Night's movies post-Sixth Sense, and haven't been terribly impressed with them. The Happening was the last movie I watched by him, and even my sister said it was terrible and hard to follow. We also wondered how the girl in the jeep who was sitting in the back seat suddenly got thrown out the window after it crashed into the tree.

I thought it was decent. By no means was a great but it was decent. Just for the fights and the bending effects it was cool if you liked the series.

As for the races of the different tribes the way they did it made sense. They picked their actors then the actor's race/look became that tribe's race/look.

This movie caried none of the joy that made the show addictive. What a way to kill an awesome property.

I watched it this weekend. It was worth the $1 red box charges. I wouldn't pay more than that to watch it tough.
