I'm happy to say that this is the best season I can remember in a long long time. After at least 4-5 pointless seasons with a few good episodes popping up on occasion, they seem to be going out with a bang.

We'll see how the whole Darkseid thing plays out, hopefully not like the travesty that was their version of Doomsday.

I want Rosenbaum back! cry cry cry cry cry

I thought last season was pretty solid. This season seems a bit rushed, but I guess there's a good reason for it. tongue

Can't argue that...in my opinion he's the most accurate portrayal of Lex Luthor in television/movie history. I love Gene Hackman, but he was a completely one-dimensional version. Rosenbaum nailed the jealous, power craving ambitious Luthor.

edit: and I'm still crossing my fingers for a Rosenbaum appearance this season...its all rumors at this point.

Can Clark fly yet? If so I might start watching again.

Probably won't till towards the end of the season. Though he did float with Lois in an early episode, and also traveled to the future briefly where we saw the future Clark flying.

I wish they would quit the political crap. The show isn't subtle enough to get away with it without beating you over the head.

It seems like a lot of the episodes this season has been 50 minutes of crap, then the last tenish will advance the plot along.

Too bad for you that in most superhero storylines the government tries to, at the very least, identify all the super-powered people. The politics being portrayed in Smallville are just as much a part of the plot as everything else so you should learn to accept it.

Yea he's not listed on anything still. I'm hoping for a last episode showing or something. sad

Such a stupid reason that he's not in the series anymore.

Well, for one thing Marvel has done that story line to death. Second thing, it's Smallville the show has gone 9 seasons without letting us know what their position on illegal immigration and talk show personalities are now that Clark has started doing things other than whine over Lana they're tossing this crap in. Though I will concede it makes sense that Ollie (Green Arrow) would be a filthy liberal as his comic book counterpart is.

Technically he flew twice this season...the first time he lost it and fell.
