Normally VI makes a post any time there is something new added. I find it kind of odd that a new update all of a sudden pops up after the virindi servers have been having troubles (possibly hacked?)
With no input from VI im not risking my accounts. Just to be safe I have disabled updates on all my machines.
I recommend everyone else do the same. Just a suggestion. I also recommend running an AV scan to be safe.

not 100% accurate ball, VI would often talk about .xx released. then if troubles were pointed out (possibly as was done with .43 in a different thread you could often see .xx+1 .xx+2 ect released as she fixed made a adjustments without any further comments.

Considering she hasn't been playing for the last 3 or 4 months, I am skeptical about this update. You can do what you like, but until I hear from her, I am not updating.

.45 has cleared up the looting crash troubles for me, just because VI is not actively playing doesn't mean that SUPPORT for Vtank has ended, there have been cases of dev's fixing plug-in's when they haven't had an account (or access) for a year.
Until proven otherwise, I trust in VI (or else I ALREADY should have stopped using the plug-in).

I found a couple small bugs in Virindi Views that she fixed and pushed an update. Update was official.

Could one of you with her ear see if she will do an update and add in a toggle for the follow around corners code so it will disable automatically or with a button when outside?
