Their billing setup pretends to take military addresses, but it fails on both my CC and debit card even if I try to pay by remote desktopping to a computer in the US (I'm in Japan). The only way to maybe get around this is to wait until noon Eastern which is 1am local and then be on hold god only knows how long.

So I call them get my account manually reactivated..."OK sir, you should be able access your account in about 5 minutes"

Well now it's been an hour...and I still get authentication failed messages. I get different messages depending on whether I use the right or wrong password, that tells me I'm getting to the server.

I call the account guys back "oh, that's a tech support issue, you'll have to submit a ticket on our website"

Of course I absolutely know the reply is going to be how to setup port forwarding and maybe firewall exceptions...both of which I've already done/verified.

Well the billing guy got the account reopened. I also just got an email from the Tech support guys, they say they did something to fix it on their side. I'm at work right now and will have to try it when I get home.

Just fyi I'm at Yokosuka (civilian)
