Im at a loss here.

I put everything not in the program files folder.

games/turbine/asheron's call - throne of destiny
games/turbine/asheron's call - throne of destiny/2
games/turbine/asheron's call - throne of destiny/3

open up first client. then do where ac. it shows up there.

go to open up 2nd client. it does the lobby patch which means it is picking the other folder(i think) then i get the cannot open up multiple error. even if i manualy select 2 it still gives the error...

Did you run them as admin? Right click on the ACDC icon and select run as admin. See if that helps.

Post an export but I'll bet you're missing a prerequisite, some of the stuff is picky about the ORDER it's installed in. It seems to work well if you still stuff via the order that's provided in the sticky post here --> http://vnboards.ign.com/ac_utilities/b5432/113031404/p1/?30
Walk-thru a lil ways below the top post.

I never got
When I start ACDC I get a message that says:

"You currently have Process Performance Counters Disabled.

ACDCDualClient requires Process Performance Counters to be enabled for it to function properly.

Would you like to enable Process Performance Counters?"

Its very possible the performance counters could be the problem. Offhand I don't remember how to import those. There should be a thread here stating how to do that.

I always get that message when I start ACDC, even if I answer yes. And I don't see the decal export that someone already requested.

The Decal Export also tracks a number of things that need to be installed for various plugins or even ACDC (such items have thier own heading in the export).

ACDC *Requires* Process Performance Counters to be enabled, WIN 7 has them off by default (I've managed to get them to default to ON on one of my 3 systems but cannot seem to repeat it on the other 2 I have, no matter I hit Yes and go on).

Your export has mxsml 1.1 and the VBrun 6 installs listed as installed.

In times past the ORDER certain things were installed mattered as there was one install that'd overwrite a newer version of something if installed after (one of the libraries or such) but I don't remember the details anymore.
That is the reason I point to Yaroz's Walkthru and gathered list or requirements for installing AC and related Decal bits that was made into a sticky.
Handle stuff in the order of the walkthru and it normally just WORKS.
I'm not sure what the issue is here, but I spent a couple hours installing, downloading etc while getting each of my proverbial ducks in a row each system i set up (and they were done a couple months apart so it was not just assembly line work).
I install stuff, see if it works, if not I try and figure out what's currently wrong or missing, rinse and repeat.

So looks like my issue is turning on counters then?
